Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite ‘Kylian Mbappé’ FG

For all of Kylian’s scoring barrages, step-overs and shrugs, Mercurial has been there to unlock his blazing speed. With graphic shout-outs to his most iconic player editions since 2018, this Vapor 16 Elite uses our bouncy Air Zoom cushioning, a new traction plate and revolutionary Gripknit to help boost his game-changing acceleration.

Fast traction
The wave-like traction pattern works with the Air Zoom unit to unlock Kylian’s blazing speed. It takes up more surface area of the Air Zoom unit compared with the Vapor 15 while providing the right amount of grip. It is combined with chevron and blade studs to help Kylian stop when making cuts.

Exceptional touch
Nike Gripknit, a sticky material that provides exceptional touch to the ball, gives Kylian the control he needs when dribbling at high speeds. It provides equal grip in wet or dry conditions.

Snug fit
The Flyknit upper, engineered for the game’s fastest players, provides a sock-like fit. It is combined with Gripknit to form the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, bringing Kylian closer to the ball and shortening break-in time.
